There’s no greater satisfaction than always having one’s loved ones by one’s side. And, I realized this even more, when I had to stay away from my family abroad for 2 years. My life has always centered around my wife and two children, and leaving them behind for a period this long seemed like an apprehensive idea. I knew my wife would handle everything perfectly in my absence and that my kids were sensible enough not to trouble her but I was still apprehensive. However, they assured me and insisted that I shouldn’t miss this golden opportunity offered by my company.
This year in June, I completed my vocational stay and came back to India. I was overwhelmed to see my family again. In just two years, my little kids had noticeably grown so much and I regretted missing out on their wonderful transition. I knew I’d need to make up for the time lost and eventually strengthen my bond with them. My wife suggested that we must plan a summer vacation to spend quality time together. I agreed to the idea and we settled on visiting Chester Hills, the paradise realm of Solan.
The following Sunday, we reached there by evening and were delighted with the gripping sights and the pleasant climate. The behemoth villas, the beautiful mountains and parks, and the luxurious vibe of the premises made this place a small dreamland. Our first day was spent well as we relished a scrumptious dinner at the Multi-cuisine Dining Restaurant and sauntered into the fascinating Landscape Park.
The following morning, we basked in the pool area and captured countless photos. I felt elated to see my kids enjoying themselves to the fullest, splashing water at each other. A surge of joy rushed through me to see their innocent giggling and chuckling, after such a long period of separation from them. My wife and I also participated in this fun and our daughters were thrilled at this recreational family experience.
After a memorable splashy time, we decided to explore the famous Games & Cardroom, as suggested by some guests there. There was a multitude of activities for all age groups. The excitement of my kids went to another level and they began exploring all the games. Meanwhile, my better half and I decided to go for card games. We both had a great time playing, smiling, and laughing together. Throughout my foreign stay, I had dearly missed her radiant presence in my life and was happy to take every opportunity of enjoying myself with her.
Soon we indulged in some multiplayer activities and our girls aced every game they had their eye on. It was amazing to see them enthusiastic and fervent. We were so amused by the leisurely hours here that we lost track of time. As we still had some time before dinner, we decided to watch a movie in the Gold-class Movie Theater. The ambiance inside was enthralling with deluxe seating, an excellent HD screen, great audio quality, and a superb collection of movies. For the next three days, we enjoyed every evening with a movie at this classy mini-theater.
During our stay, we also spent some hours in the soothing Spa and Jacuzzi area and discovered the serene vicinity of the Meditation Park, too. Moreover, we clicked innumerable photographs of every landscape surrounding us, cherishing them as beautiful souvenirs of this trip. There was so much to do and we realized we’d have to make another trip sometime to completely explore this wondrous place. This was my collection of amazing family memories at Chester Hills.
