Hills for me have always been a perfect escape from the monotony of urban life. Being a Delhite since my teenagehood, I’ve spent five decades of my life among the city hubbub. Though I have always cherished the lifestyle of a metropolis, I never denied my yearning to retreat from the urban hurly-burly and find a place of repose. Soon after all my children settled in their lives and I retired from my work life; I fortunately got a chance to fulfill my desire of moving to the hills.
My wife was equally thrilled at this decision as this had always been on our minds ever since we got married. And now that our children had grown into independent adults, we finally chose Solan to peacefully spend the rest of our golden years. I discussed this with my eldest son and he suggested we settle for Chester Hills where his best friend resided. When he described the spectacular living we could expect there, I was tempted to make no further delays and soon shifted to my new Luxurious Apartment in Solan
The breathtaking interior design, the spacious balconies encircled by the bewitching sight of mountains, the beautiful Landscape Park to stroll through the magnificent valleys, and the relaxation experienced all day with the fresh breath of air – everything here is astonishingly perfect and magical. My wife and I also enjoy the serenity of Meditation Park (a beautifully designed pergola structure over a tiny pond with a fountain in the middle). Moreover, the Yoga Circles and the Exercise Stations here help me live an active lifestyle at my old age as well.
Nevertheless, the list of our conveniences at this beautiful place doesn’t end here. One of my go-to places to reinvigorate myself (especially, after the exercise sessions) is the lavish and tranquilizing Spa & Jacuzzi section. Meanwhile, my wife being a huge Bollywood fan finds her solace in the amusing Gold-class movie theater.
There are numerous shops within our vicinity where we can easily find the items of daily needs (a facility that comes as a big relief to us owing to our crucial age). There is also a swimming pool, a games and card room, a Multi-cuisine Dining Area and other places of leisure that people of all age groups can enjoy.
Till now we’ve had many guests visiting us from time to time and they always look forward to seeing us often. After all, they can’t get enough of the amusements and comforts here! I spend every day of my life with utter satisfaction and delight, realizing that residing here has been the best decision of my life. This is my perennial tale of joy at Chester Hills. What’s yours?
