Working in the healthcare field (Diets & Nutrition to be precise), I have always been acutely aware of the importance of health and wellness. After years of working in a high-pressure and stressful environment, I have started to feel the negatives of working in such big cities which do not leave any room for a stress-free and “clean & green” living.
Over time, I began to prioritize my health and wellness more, seeking out exercise and healthy eating habits to combat the negative effects of city living. But as I looked ahead to the future, I knew that I wanted more than just a healthier lifestyle – I wanted a home that could support it.
My desire to prioritize my health and wellness led me to explore the idea of investing in a residence in the hills away from the noisy and overly polluted city which I had so monotonously become a part of. I thought to myself that a hilltop residence offered many benefits that a traditional city apartment simply could never provide. From fresh air and natural surroundings to opportunities for outdoor activities and a slower pace of life, moving away from here seemed like the perfect fit for my desire for a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
That was when my research led me to Chester Hills, posh residences in a well-knit community. The property seemed magnificent and befitted all my needs and requirements.
Of course, investing in a home was no small feat. I had to carefully consider my finances, as well as the logistics of making such a move. But ultimately, I decided that the benefits of a hilltop residence far outweighed any challenges. I started working remotely which took away the major hurdle off from my move.
Fast forward to today, I sit here working as a digital nomad from my very own 1 BHK apartment in Solan soaking in the stunning views of the mountains from my balcony. My routines here include working during the day and then some days I indulge in self-care at the Spa & Jacuzzi which leaves me so relaxed and nourished. If I get in the mood to break some sweat I hit the state-of-the-art Gymnasium which helps to keep my body in shape, and if I feel like I need some tranquil moments to myself I sit at the Meditation Centre which has a beautiful pergola structure over a pond with a fountain in the middle.
I am thrilled with my decision. I wake up every morning to fresh air and have even found plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. And with a slower pace of life, I have been able to prioritize self-care in a way that simply wasn’t possible in the city. But perhaps the biggest benefit of Chester Hills is the impact it has had on my overall health and wellness. I no longer have to worry about the negative effects of air pollution or high-stress jobs, and instead am able to focus on creating a healthy, balanced life for myself.
